South Korean parliament states about 600 North Korean soldiers have been killed in the war with Ukraine

A member of the South Korean parliamentary intelligence committee has announced that about 600 North Korean soldiers have been killed while fighting for Russia against Ukraine

Lee Seung-kwon, citing reports from intelligence officials in Seoul, said that over four thousand other North Korean soldiers have also been injured and wounded

However, he added that this war has significantly improved the combat capabilities of the North Korean army, and these forces are no longer as incapable as before

Earlier this week, Pyongyang confirmed for the first time that it has dispatched its military forces to Russia

North Korean state media have said these forces participated in reclaiming part of the Russian territory in the Kursk region that had previously fallen into Ukrainian hands
