Omani Foreign Minister Confirms Delay in Iran-U.S. Talks

The Omani Foreign Minister confirmed the postponement of Iran-U.S. talks

Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud Al Busaidi, the Foreign Minister of Oman, announced on Thursday, May 1st, via a message on X, the postponement of the fourth round of indirect negotiations between representatives of the Islamic Republic and the United States.

He wrote that due to logistical reasons, the meeting between the U.S. and Iran, which was temporarily scheduled for Saturday, May 3rd, is being postponed to another time.

The new date will be announced after mutual agreement.

The fourth round of talks was supposed to be held on Saturday, May 3rd, in Rome, the capital of Italy.
