Trump: My intention is to resolve the Iran issue without military action
According to the French news agency, on Thursday, May 7th, U.S. President Donald Trump emphasized in remarks regarding the negotiation process with Iran that his goal is to settle the Islamic Republic’s issue without the need for military action.
He thanked Steven Witkoff, his trusted associate in nuclear negotiations with the Islamic Republic, describing him as a true professional.
Trump said, I am trying to resolve the Iran issue without the need for what we call a massive bombing.
I have no interest in doing such a thing; rather, I want them to be successful, Iran.
These remarks come as none of the official representatives of Iran and the U.S. have yet announced the exact time and place for the fourth round of negotiations.
