Tractor and Nassaji Football Match Spectators Booed the Performer

Spectators booed the preacher at the Tractor and Nassaji football match

A video shared on social media from the sidelines of the Tractor and Nassaji football match in Tabriz shows that the spectators booed a preacher who started chanting on the football field for a few minutes and threw bottles at him.

According to Tabriz Javan, Mehdi Leithi, a government preacher, had also provoked public anger in May 2019 after Persepolis won the Premier League by posting a message on Instagram’s story feature.

He had previously said that this sinful city should get used to my presence.
