Jalali, Iran’s ambassador to Russia, says Putin will soon visit Iran

Kazem Jalali, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic in Moscow, announced on Thursday, June 4, that Russian President Vladimir Putin will soon travel to Iran.

Speaking to prominent Russian Iranologists, he noted that in 2024, Russia was the largest foreign investor in Iran and said that based on the agreement between the two countries, Russia is set to invest eight billion dollars in Iran’s gas projects, with nearly five billion dollars of this amount already confirmed, and the rest of the contracts are also moving towards finalization.

Jalali added that the relations between the two countries have now been elevated to a strategic level, and there are high-level exchanges between officials of the two countries. We will soon witness Mr. Vladimir Putin’s visit to Tehran.
