Disruptions in international flights to and from Iran continue

Despite Iranian media reporting the resumption of operations at nearly all Iranian airports, cancellations and disruptions in flights to and from Iran and some Middle Eastern countries persist.

The Tehran-based newspaper Etemad reported today, Thursday, July 9, that the airports in Tabriz and Isfahan were damaged in Israeli attacks.

Etemad wrote about these two airports, stating that the permission for Tabriz Airport to return to the country’s air transport service cycle has been issued in recent days, and Isfahan Airport will soon be reconnected to the transport service network.

Turkish Airlines announced that while its flights to Tehran, Shiraz, Tabriz, and Mashhad have resumed, flights to Isfahan will remain canceled until next week.

Emirates also states that it has canceled round-trip flights to Tehran until the end of next week, and Qatar Airways has also continued to suspend its flights to Iran.
