Joint statement by the United States, the United Kingdom, and 12 European countries regarding the increased threat from the intelligence services of the Islamic Republic of Iran
The foreign ministries of the United States, the United Kingdom, and over 10 European countries have condemned the increased state threats from the intelligence services of the Islamic Republic in a joint statement.
The countries of Albania, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and the United States condemned the increased state threats from Iranian intelligence services in their territories and declared that we are united in opposing the efforts of Iranian intelligence services to kill, kidnap, and harass people in Europe and North America, which is a clear violation of our sovereignty.
They have announced that the intelligence services of the Islamic Republic are increasingly cooperating with international criminal organizations to target journalists, dissidents, Jewish citizens, and current and former officials in Europe and North America.
These countries, calling these actions of the Islamic Republic unacceptable, have emphasized that we consider these types of attacks a violation of our sovereignty, regardless of the target, and are committed to cooperating to prevent such actions from occurring.
These 14 countries have called on the officials of the Islamic Republic to immediately end such illegal activities in Europe and America.
