Zarif in Foreign Policy magazine: The Zangezur agreement is an opportunity for Iran in regional dialogues.
Mohammad Javad Zarif, the former Foreign Minister of Iran, in an article in the English-language magazine Foreign Policy, advocated for the resumption of negotiations with Europe and the United States and called for a bold diplomatic initiative by Iran.
Mr. Zarif described the recent agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia in Washington over the Zangezur transit route as an opportunity.
In this article, which was published by IRNA, Mr. Zarif stated that by participating in a forward-looking and result-oriented multilateral dialogue, Iran can gain significant benefits and avert great hardships.
According to Mr. Zarif, the path ahead could include creating a regional network for non-proliferation and peaceful nuclear cooperation, possibly accompanied by a non-aggression pact between Iran and the United States.
