Aghamiri, addressing the water crisis in Tehran, stated that the water issue has a 100% solution and said, ‘Our question is, if we transfer water from the Taleqan Dam, what will we do afterward? We don’t have a water problem; we have a water management problem.’
In another part of his remarks, he pointed out that Tehran is not prepared for an earthquake and said, ‘Tehran is not ready for an earthquake of 6 Richter or above, and if an earthquake occurs, a disaster will happen because the water and gas facilities are not prepared for an earthquake.’
