Following controversial statements in an online program, Mohammad Sadr has been subjected to legal prosecution.

The Judiciary’s media center reported that the Tehran Prosecutor’s Office has filed charges against Mohammad Sadr, a member of the Expediency Discernment Council.

The Judiciary’s media center announced that after a political figure and member of the Expediency Discernment Council appeared in an online program making false claims, the Tehran Prosecutor’s Office filed charges against him and a legal case was opened.

Mizan referred to Mohammad Sadr, a member of the Expediency Discernment Council, who stated in an online program on Sunday, August 23, that Russia had provided Israel with information on the country’s defense centers.

In this interview, he also claimed that Israel assassinated Ebrahim Raisi.
