The release of a video on social media showing the midnight closure of a clinic in Yazd, despite a patient being hospitalized, led to it being sealed.

A video has been released on social media showing a patient left behind in a clinic in Yazd while having an IV in his hand.

The stranded patient, who recorded this video at Zakaria Clinic, says he realized the clinic’s doors were locked when he woke up and called the police.

This prompted a decisive reaction from the province’s University of Medical Sciences, and the deputy director of treatment ordered the sealing of this medical center.

Following the release of this video, the deputy director of treatment at Yazd University of Medical Sciences announced on Sunday, September 6, that due to multiple violations observed, the clinic was sealed, and its operations were halted until further notice.

According to Shahid Sadoughi University of Medical Sciences in Yazd, the mentioned clinic was obligated to provide services around the clock as a 24-hour center.
