On Tuesday, September 8, Al-Hadath reported that Khaled Mashal, head of the political bureau, and Khalil al-Hayya, deputy head of the political bureau of Hamas, were among the targets of Israel in the attack on the location of Hamas leaders in Qatar.

Israeli media, citing senior security officials of the country, announced that this operation was named Doomsday.

According to Al-Hadath, the Hamas delegation had convened to give a positive response to the ceasefire proposal by Donald Trump, the President of the United States.
