Japan implemented UN Security Council sanctions against Iran

On Monday, September 28, the Japanese government announced that with the return of international sanctions against the Islamic Republic of Iran, the assets of 78 entities and 43 individuals in this country would be frozen.

Yoshimasa Hayashi, the Cabinet Secretary of Japan, announced this news and said that the nuclear issue of the Islamic Republic is at a critical juncture.

While adhering to the Security Council’s decision to reinstate sanctions, we will continue necessary diplomatic efforts.
