Imam Khomeini's Grandchild: Without the Takeover of the US Embassy, the Islamic Republic Would Not Exist Today

Khomeini’s grandson: Without the seizure of the US embassy, the Islamic Republic would not exist today

On Monday, November 2nd, Ali Khomeini, the grandson of Imam Khomeini, stated during a ceremony at Beheshti University commemorating the anniversary of the US embassy takeover that if the embassy had not been seized, the Islamic Republic would not exist today. Even if it did, we would not have missiles and nuclear energy.

He emphasized that the practical message of that event was that the US is not the absolute decision-maker.

He claimed that no country in the region has the right to defense systems because the US does not allow it.

Ali Khomeini is the son of Ahmad Khomeini and the grandson of Imam Khomeini, and he is active in promotional activities and speeches in Qom and Tehran.
