Mojaherani: The Islamic Republic does not pursue nuclear bombs due to ethical principles

Fatemeh Mojaherani, the spokesperson for the Iranian Islamic Republic’s government, said in her press conference on Tuesday, November 3rd, that Tehran has no plans to build nuclear weapons and will not make such a decision for cultural, ideological, and ethical reasons.

She emphasized that the Islamic Republic has always adhered to the peaceful use of nuclear energy and added, ‘We are ethical and do not pursue nuclear bombs.’

Mojaherani also referred to the recent statements by Rafael Grossi, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, and said that Grossi has confirmed that the Islamic Republic of Iran has never had a military nuclear program.
