The U.S. Secretary of State: We support the brave people of Iran

The United States Secretary of State emphasized in a brief message on the morning of Saturday, January 9, that the United States supports the brave people of Iran.

On the evening of Friday, January 8, during the thirteenth night of the new wave of protests in Iran, protest gatherings were held in many parts of the country, including various areas of the capital, and protesters chanted slogans against the government and in some areas in support of Reza Pahlavi.

In recent days, U.S. President Donald Trump has repeatedly warned the officials of the Islamic Republic that if the killing of protesters continues, Washington will take action in support of the people of Iran.

Additionally, the Iran Human Rights organization, based in Norway, announced on Friday, January 8, that during the 13 days of protests in Iran, at least 51 protesters, including 9 children, have been killed and hundreds of others injured.
