UN Watch warns Iraqchi: You have no immunity, we will sue you
Hillel C. Neuer, Executive Director of the NGO UN Watch, warned Abbas Iraqchi about his potential attendance at the Davos meeting in Switzerland.
This human rights lawyer announced in two messages on the social network X addressing Abbas Iraqchi that if you set foot in Davos this week, I will file a complaint against you in Swiss courts.
On the evening of Sunday, January 17, Neuer wrote in these messages that your command role in the Supreme National Security Council in the massacre of thousands of protesters is considered a crime against humanity, so expect arrest, trial, and justice.
He also emphasized Iraqchi’s position and lack of immunity in matters related to crimes against humanity, stating that acts like murder, torture, and sexual assault can never be considered legitimate official acts of a state, and international crimes, including crimes against humanity and torture, are prohibited under international law.
Meanwhile, on Sunday, January 17, the organization United Against Nuclear Iran announced that Abbas Iraqchi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic, has been added to the list of speakers at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
