The Iranian Ministry of Health acknowledged the fear of injured protesters in seeking medical care

On Monday, the head of public relations at the Iranian Ministry of Health acknowledged the existence of fear and concern among injured protesters about seeking medical attention in the country

The Tasnim News Agency reported, quoting this health ministry official, that protesters injured during the crackdowns should not stay at home and should not be worried about going to medical centers

This health ministry official advised protesters, saying our advice to people is that if they suffer any kind of injury, they should not treat it at home and should not worry about going to medical centers

On Monday, Hossein Kermanpour also stated that after this announcement by the Ministry of Health, more than three thousand people who had suffered various injuries have recently visited medical centers

In the new wave of public protests in Iran, similar to the ‘Woman, Life, Freedom’ protests in 2022, there have been multiple reports indicating that the Islamic Republic’s security forces have stormed hospitals to arrest protesters, a situation that has led a significant number of injured individuals to prefer staying at home despite severe injuries
