EU Foreign Policy Chief: A Diplomatic Solution Must Be Reached Regarding Iran

The EU’s foreign policy chief must reach a diplomatic solution regarding Iran.

The EU’s foreign policy chief called for a diplomatic solution regarding Iran ahead of the expected talks between Tehran and Washington on Thursday.

Kaja Kallas made these remarks on Monday, February 22, as Donald Trump, the President of the United States, repeatedly warned that if Iran refuses to agree with Washington, it will face tough attacks and blows.

Before the EU foreign ministers’ meeting, she said, ‘We do not need another war in this region; we are already facing many wars.’

Kallas added, ‘It is true that Iran is in its weakest position in recent years; we really need to use this time to find a diplomatic solution.’

The Foreign Minister of Oman previously announced that the third round of negotiations between Iran and the United States regarding Tehran’s nuclear program will be held on February 26 in Geneva, Switzerland.
