The Crown of Corruption on Tajgardoon’s Head
Saeed Aghanji, the editor-in-chief of Iran Gate News Agency, who works as an investigative journalist focusing on corruption, has examined a new case led by Gholamreza Tajgardoon, the head of the Parliament’s Planning and Budget Commission. He talks about the mutual cooperation and support between two individuals. After investigation and research, Aghanji has concluded that in Tajgardoon’s extensive corruption case, the name Khodadad Gharibpour does not appear in any company or file, despite the very apparent relationship between these two in the judiciary. Just as Tajgardoon uses Hassan Tofighi, Omid Tofighi, and another person residing in Europe for extensive corruption in the Jordan office, suitcases of dollars and gold bars are moved there for his benefit. After controversies during his governorship, Khodadad Gharibpour became housebound but came to Tehran with Tajgardoon’s support and erased his tracks through the children of his second wife. Harmazani and Sarmozani are individuals associated with Gharibpour who lead chain companies and have created a vast and influential network in petrochemicals. Hossein Ramazani in the UAE and Jamshidinejad are two agents close to Gharibpour. They conduct extensive money laundering through individuals and companies whose traces lead to the UAE, the UK, and other countries, and they are active in major petrochemical product transactions. Ahmad Dehghan, another member of Tajgardoon’s corruption circle, has extensive financial violations in Energy Sepehr. He has a commercial and, of course, rent-seeking arrangement with Hossein Ramazani in one of the chain companies. The extensive corruption cases are like a chain, with the first link starting from the UAE and continuing to Europe, Denmark, Germany, Spain, and the UK. Aghanji has announced that he will soon unveil the multiple layers of this corruption network.
