US Secretary of Defense: The Most Intense Attacks on Iran Will Take Place on Tuesday

The US Secretary of Defense states the most intense attacks on Iran will occur on Tuesday.

Pete Hegseth, the United States Secretary of Defense, announced that on Tuesday, March 9, the most intense American attacks on Iran since the beginning of the war will take place, with an increase in the number of fighter jets, bombers, and military operations.

In a joint press conference with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff at the Pentagon, he said today will again be the most intense day of our attacks inside Iran, with the most fighter jets, the most bombers, and the most attacks, with more precise and better intelligence than ever.

According to him, Iran has been left alone in these conflicts and is suffering defeats. The US Secretary of Defense also said that Iran has launched the fewest number of missiles in the past 24 hours.

Hegseth emphasized that this war will not be endless and that the end of this campaign will be determined by Donald Trump, the President of the United States. At the same time, he accused Iran of deploying its missile launchers in residential areas and near schools and hospitals to reduce the ability of American forces to target them.

In the same meeting, General Dan Keane, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said that American forces have targeted Iranian mine-laying ships. He added that the Pentagon is considering various options in case of a mission to pass ships through the Strait of Hormuz.

The war between the United States and Israel with Iran, which has now been ongoing for ten days, has severely reduced the passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz, and it is said that traffic on this route has dropped by up to 90%, a situation that has disrupted the global transportation of oil and liquefied gas.

As a result of this situation, major oil producers, including Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and the United Arab Emirates, have been forced to reduce their production because their storage capacities have been filled.

The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff also said that in the first ten days of this campaign, US forces have targeted over five thousand targets in Iran, among which more than 50 ships were included.
