The UK Defense Minister: Iran and Russia are the axis of violence
John Healy, the UK Defense Minister, stated in an interview with the BBC that Iran and Russia are the axis of violence.
He said that British intelligence findings, prior to the onset of the US and Israel’s war with Iran, indicated that Russia had provided intelligence support to Iran and was training Iranian forces in drone and electronic warfare.
Healy also mentioned Russia’s role, saying that Vladimir Putin’s hidden hand is at work in Iran.
He added that Putin wants to distract us from what he is doing elsewhere in Ukraine, but we will not allow it.
The UK Defense Minister further stated that the country is defending its interests, British bases, and allies in the region, and that British aircraft have flown over the region for more than a thousand hours.
