The Ministry of Science of the Islamic Republic announced that all classes and thesis defense sessions in universities and higher education institutions will be held virtually from April 4th until further notice

This decision has been made due to the ongoing war between the USA and Israel with Iran

The announcement states that for practical courses that cannot be held online, universities must make the necessary arrangements

Universities are also permitted to hold the comprehensive doctoral exams virtually

Meanwhile, in recent months, due to protests and then the start of the war, in-person activities at many universities have faced disruptions
