Reports indicate the arrest of this human rights activist at her personal residence

Nasrin Sotoudeh, a lawyer and human rights activist, was arrested on Wednesday, April 1st, at her residence in Tehran

Her daughter, Mehraveh Khodan, announced that the arrest took place when Sotoudeh was alone at home, and it is still unclear which security agency arrested her and on what charges

According to her, security agents also confiscated some personal belongings, including the lawyer’s mobile phone and laptop

Reza Khodan, Nasrin Sotoudeh’s husband, has also been in prison since December 2024
