Lebanon Seeks Inclusion of Beirut in Ceasefire Agreement

Lebanon requested the inclusion of Beirut in the ceasefire agreement

The Prime Minister of Lebanon asked his Pakistani counterpart to confirm that Lebanon is also included in the ceasefire agreement between Iran and the United States

Nawaf Salam, in a call with Shehbaz Sharif, expressed gratitude for Islamabad’s role in mediation and requested that the ceasefire include Lebanon as well to prevent the recurrence of Israeli attacks

This request was made in light of recent Israeli attacks on Lebanon, which have caused widespread casualties

In contrast, the United States and Israel have announced that Lebanon is not included in this agreement and operations against Hezbollah will continue

Meanwhile, Iranian officials have also emphasized the necessity of including Lebanon in the ceasefire and warned about the consequences of continued attacks
