Judiciary Reports Seizure of Assets from 51 People in Yazd

The judiciary announced the seizure of assets of 51 people in Yazd

The judiciary of the Islamic Republic announced that the assets of 51 people in Yazd province have been seized on charges including espionage and collaboration with hostile countries and opposing groups.

The judiciary’s media center announced on Saturday that these assets have been confiscated for the benefit of the people and for the reconstruction of war-damaged sites.

According to this statement, 20 of the mentioned individuals are inside Iran and 31 are outside the country, and the seized assets include bank accounts, real estate, movable properties, company shares, and even proxy assets.

The judiciary has not released the names of these individuals and has not provided details about the documents and evidence related to the charges.

In recent months, reports have also been published about the seizure of assets of civil and political activists, artists, and athletes on charges such as treason and collaboration with hostile countries.
