Early Championship Victory for Iran’s Junior Greco-Roman Wrestlers in Asia

Iran’s junior Greco-Roman wrestling team secured their championship title in the Asian Championships before the end of the competition by winning six gold medals on the first day of the event.

In the competitions held in Da Nang, Vietnam, Armin Esmaeili at 45 kg, Ali Esmaeili at 48 kg, Vahid Ashiri at 55 kg, Amir Reza Tahmasbipour at 60 kg, Amir Reza Mehri at 92 kg, and Aliakbar Ako at 110 kg won gold medals for Iran.

The final weight category of the competition is being held today, but the Iranian team has already claimed the championship title before the end of the event.
