Show Maximum Flexibility to the Prime Minister of Japan for Achieving an Agreement

The Prime Minister of Japan shows maximum flexibility to Pezeshkian for reaching an agreement

The Prime Minister of Japan announced that in a phone call with Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of Iran, he has asked Tehran to show maximum flexibility to take advantage of the opportunity created in negotiations with the United States.

Sanae Takaichi, after this conversation, told reporters that he also emphasized the necessity of quickly reopening the Strait of Hormuz and ensuring the free and safe passage of Asian and other countries’ ships.

He did not provide details of Pezeshkian’s response but said both parties agreed to continue their communications and consultations in the future.

This call took place while diplomatic efforts to reach an agreement between Iran and the United States and to reduce tensions in the region are ongoing.
