The Iranian Foreign Ministry described the US attack on radar and coastal surveillance facilities in Sirik and Qeshm Island as a blatant breach of the ceasefire and a military aggression against Iran’s national sovereignty and territorial integrity, and strongly condemned it.
On Saturday, June 6, the Islamic Republic’s Foreign Ministry also stated in a declaration that Iran’s armed forces have responded to this action within the framework of the right to legitimate defense.
The statement does not mention the missile attacks on Kuwait and Bahrain in response to this attack.
