Persian Gulf Holding Medicalian’s Tribute to Shariatmadar and Friends

Medicalian’s insistence on keeping Mohammad Shariatmadari in position means nothing but the continuation of the rent-seeking and corruption of the reformist movement from the country’s largest holding, namely Persian Gulf Holding. When the President stands against the implementation of the law, the issue is no longer limited to Persian Gulf Holding. A new chapter begins in addressing large and suspicious cases, from the actions and rent-seeking of the son of Midari, the Minister of Labor, and the subsidiaries of Shasta, to the discussion of trusts linked to the Tajgerdun group, which has financially supported Medicalian. The fate of billions of dollars of oil money that has not been returned must be determined carefully and without bias or leniency. Unfortunately, the issue of cases suspected of widespread corruption within the government does not end here. The case of the son of the head of the government’s Information Council in Turkey and the cases of forgery of the minister’s letters by the Information Council forces, which even led to the arrest of some personnel of this collection, are on the table. The children of Aref, the first deputy of Medicalian, and the details of their economic activities and accountability are considered a major anti-corruption project on their own. Medicalian’s defense of one of the most corrupt individuals in petrochemicals and oil, in the face of widespread protests against this person, who hoped through enlightenment and exposure of widespread corruption that the President would show his determination to reform and fight rent-seeking and corruption by dismissing him, has created despair and hopelessness. This case remains open.
