India Lifted the Restrictions on Its Ships Passing Through the Strait of Hormuz

India lifted the restriction on the movement of its ships in the Strait of Hormuz

The Directorate General of Shipping in India has revoked its previous warning regarding the restriction on the movement of Indian ships in the Persian Gulf region, including the Strait of Hormuz, and the restriction on the deployment of Indian seafarers in conflict areas.

According to the new guidelines, there are no restrictions for owners, managers, and companies involved in the hiring and deployment of Indian seafarers on ships operating in the Persian Gulf, provided that the security protocols of the coastal countries and responsible authorities are observed.

At the same time, the organization urged those in the maritime industry to maintain a high level of caution when operating in the area and to continuously follow navigation warnings.
