The global community must urge Israel to implement the agreement
Joseph Aoun, the President of Lebanon, called on the international community to pressure Israel to fulfill the terms of the framework agreement between Beirut and Tel Aviv
He also emphasized that the Lebanese government is committed to having exclusive control over weapons and decisions regarding war and peace, and no other party should have a role in this matter. Aoun added that the efforts of Lebanon’s military and civilian delegations in the negotiations have brought the best possible outcome for the country.
