Trump says America has paid the most for NATO without any benefit

Donald Trump, once again criticizing NATO members, claimed that the United States has spent more on the defense of this alliance than any other country between 2014 and 2025, while gaining no benefit from it.

He pointed to defense spending statistics, claiming that America has spent $999 billion, the UK $905 billion, France $665 billion, Italy $488 billion, and Poland $443 billion, and added that other countries, including Germany, have paid much less.

Trump concluded by writing that it is ridiculous.
