Masoud Pezeshkian, in a meeting with Emomali Rahmon, the President of Tajikistan, said that Israel has been one of the main causes of insecurity and tension in the region from the beginning and at the same time has tried to portray others as the cause of instability.

The President also expressed appreciation for the sympathy, support, and positions of the Tajik government and people towards Iran. Emomali Rahmon has traveled to Tehran to attend the funeral of the former leader of the Islamic Republic.
