The Gulf Waterway Authority: Strait of Hormuz Remains Closed to Shipping

The Gulf Waterway Management Authority states that the Strait of Hormuz remains closed to shipping.

The Gulf Waterway Management Authority announced that due to what it described as the ongoing aggressive actions of U.S. military forces in the region, passage through the Strait of Hormuz is still not possible.

In a statement, the authority said that after stability and calm are restored, transit requests will be reviewed based on the order of registration and scheduling, and transit permits will gradually be issued.
