Axios: Some Republicans want Rubio instead of Vance for party leadership
Axios reported that a significant portion of Republicans believe that the party leadership after Donald Trump should not be handed over to J.D. Vance, and many of them consider Marco Rubio a more suitable candidate for the party’s future nomination.
According to Axios, one of the biggest financial backers of the Republican Party has also announced that they will support Rubio, not Vance, in the primaries.
The report adds that just as Trump was able to transform the Republican Party of the George Bush era, Vance must also prove he has the ability to create such a political transformation to become the future leader of the party.
