Legal Deputy of Qalibaf Promised That Ambiguous Provisions of the Counter-Infiltration Plan Would Be Returned to the Commission

The Legal Deputy of Pezeshkian said Ghalibaf promised the ambiguous articles of the plan against infiltration would be returned to the committee.

Majid Ansari, the Legal Deputy of the Iranian President, said Masoud Pezeshkian had discussions with Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf about the plan against infiltration, and the Speaker of the Parliament promised that the ambiguous articles of this plan would be returned to the committee.

Ansari said the government is still trying to keep this plan on hold using the internal regulations of the Parliament and return it to the committee for further review.

He also criticized the review of the plan in the National Security Committee, saying that given its judicial aspects, at least the Legal and Judicial Committee of the Parliament should also participate in reviewing the articles.

The Legal Deputy of the President added that after the return of the ambiguous articles, a few articles are to be drafted for cases that, according to him, have legal gaps.
