Araqchi: The creation of a BRICS single currency is still under consideration
Abbas Araqchi, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister, said that the BRICS member countries emphasize strengthening national currencies and conducting trade exchanges using their own national currencies. He added that the idea of creating a common currency among BRICS members is also still under consideration, although no final decision or specific mechanism for its implementation exists yet.
