Safavi: Regional security should be ensured without the presence of the USA

Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi said Iran’s goal is to permanently eliminate threats and establish sustainable security in the region without the presence of the USA.

He emphasized that Iran does not intend to expand its territory or overthrow Arab governments and added that regional countries can create a new security order by cooperating with one another.

Safavi also stated that the USA will eventually leave the region, but Iran and Arab countries will continue to remain neighbors.
