Baghaei called Trump’s worldview a threat to global peace

Ismail Baghaei, spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, likened the approach of US President Donald Trump to the worldview of Caligula, describing it as a symbol of absurdity and tyranny.

Baghaei said the difference between the current situation and the era of ancient Rome is that today’s powers possess destructive weapons, a situation which, according to him, can turn public fear into a political tool and endanger global peace.
