Gharibabadi announced the continuation of Iran’s consultations with Gulf countries
Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister said that Tehran’s contacts with the foreign ministers of regional countries continue at the highest level, and Abbas Araghchi has also met with his counterparts from the Gulf countries on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.
According to him, the canceled Salalah meeting could have been an opportunity for the eight Gulf countries to discuss peace, stability, and navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
Gharibabadi added that Araghchi emphasized the importance of ensuring regional security, lifting the siege on Yemen, and achieving a political solution to the crisis in that country during the Islamic Cooperation Organization meeting.
