Reports Indicate Increased Monitoring by Iran over the Strait of Hormuz

Reports indicate an increase in Iran’s monitoring of the Strait of Hormuz

According to information released by informed sources, the monitoring and surveillance of ship traffic in the Strait of Hormuz and the southern coasts of Iran are being conducted through four routes, and the scope of this monitoring has also expanded.

The report claims that Ras Al Hadd in Oman, located about 400 kilometers from Iran’s maritime borders, has been the furthest point of advancement for US military vessels towards the Strait of Hormuz.

Additionally, based on the same information, the number of military vessels passing through the Strait of Hormuz, which was reported as 248 last year, has reached zero this year. This statistic has not been independently verified.
