Bahrain Announces Readiness to Improve Bilateral Relations with Iran

Ahmad bin Salman Al-Musallam emphasized in a meeting with the parliamentary delegation of the Islamic Republic that the Bahraini government is ready to improve bilateral relations with Iran.

According to reports, the Speaker of the Bahraini Parliament says that the beginning of this process is the negotiations taking place between the two parties for the resumption of passenger flights between the two countries.

The Daily Tribune website reported on Tuesday, March 14, that Al-Musallam made these remarks during a meeting with a parliamentary delegation of the Islamic Republic on the sidelines of the 146th Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Assembly in Manama.

Mojtaba Rezakhah, the head of the Inter-Parliamentary Council of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, who led the Iranian delegation, emphasized in this meeting on what he called the cultural, historical, and religious commonalities between Iran and Bahrain.
