Baqaei: Attack on Yemen's Civilian Airport is Unacceptable

Baghaei: The attack on Yemen’s civilian airport is unacceptable

Ismail Baghaei, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, condemned the attack on Sana’a International Airport, calling it a clear violation of international law, the UN Charter, and Yemen’s national sovereignty.

He stated that attacking a civilian airport and endangering the safety of passenger flights is a gross violation of international aviation law and is strictly unacceptable.

Baghaei also emphasized that such actions jeopardize the political process and efforts to reach a peaceful solution in Yemen, and announced that the Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to assist in advancing the political process and implementing the peace roadmap in Yemen.
