Baghaei used 180,000 pellets in the attack on Lamerd

Esmail Baghaei, spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during a visit to the damaged areas of Lamerd, said that American officials have confirmed the experimental use of the KIA-RSAM missile in the attack on February 28, 2026.

According to him, in this attack, four missiles containing a total of 180,000 pellets were fired near a school and several sports complexes. Baghaei called this action a war crime aimed at causing maximum harm to civilians and said the details would be documented for presentation to public opinion and international authorities.
