Baqai: Iran's Nuclear Issue is Not an International Dispute

Baqai: The Iranian nuclear issue is not an international dispute

Ismail Baqai, the Foreign Ministry spokesperson, said in a press conference that the Iranian nuclear issue is by no means an international dispute.

It is a pretext initially created by Israel and imposed on the United Nations, and subsequently, the European troika and the United States continued to pursue this matter.

This pretext is still ongoing.

Baqai continued that the Iranian nuclear issue should be viewed according to Iran’s rights under the Non-Proliferation Treaty.

The right of the Islamic Republic of Iran to use nuclear energy for peaceful purposes is not a right that anyone can choose to recognize or not.
