Bardia Shakourifard was sentenced to a suspended prison term and writing a 90-page article.

Shakourifard, an economics student at the University of Tehran who was arrested on September 21 after a gathering at the university, was sentenced by Branch 26 of the Revolutionary Court, presided over by Judge Afshari, to a one-year suspended prison sentence, 74 suspended lashes, writing a 90-page article on patriotism, ethics, and harming public opinion, as well as community service in a hospital.
