Battle of the Deputies

Now that Team Walz has been chosen as Harris’s deputy, his opponent is J.D. Vance, Trump’s selected deputy.

During the days of Harris and Walz’s major campaign trips to key American election states, the Trump campaign has been and will continue to hold parallel rallies in the cities hosting the Democrats’ meetings. At the Pennsylvania rally, which was the unveiling of Walz as Harris’s deputy, Walz openly and ruthlessly attacked Vance and made a humorous remark based on an unconfirmed rumor about Vance, which was a direct reference to that rumor, thrilling the numerous supporters present at the rally. Vance, in his initial attacks on Walz, pointed to Walz’s long and distinguished record in the National Guard and accused him of stepping down from the National Guard precisely when his comrades were deployed to Iraq.

Walz’s response is clear, as he and the Guard forces were deployed to Italy, and it was after returning in 2005 that he left the National Guard to start his political career and run for Congress.

Although his comrades are upset about his departure from the National Guard, they have not confirmed Vance’s claim. The Republicans’ attacks on Walz are based on his liberal and progressive policies as the governor of Minnesota, which have a list of actions and achievements that are appealing to many Americans. These attacks will not be very effective.

Vance has never been able to create much appeal, and his harsh criticisms of childless individuals and severe insults towards them have made things difficult for the Trump campaign. Walz is not a very well-known figure.

The details of his life are numerous, and surely many points for attacking him will be found.

In these conditions, it is a time of excitement and enthusiasm, and nearly forty million dollars in public donations were received by the Harris campaign from supporters within twenty-four hours after Walz’s introduction.
