Benjamin Netanyahu accepted Trump’s invitation to join the Peace Council

The Israeli Prime Minister’s Office announced on Wednesday, January 20th, that Benjamin Netanyahu has accepted Donald Trump’s invitation to participate in an entity known as the Peace Council.

The Peace Council, initiated by Donald Trump, was initially proposed as an entity to manage Gaza after the end of the war. However, its charter states that the purpose of establishing this council is to strive for expanding stability, restoring lawful and reliable governance, and ensuring security in conflict-affected or conflict-prone areas.

Before the Israeli Prime Minister, Mohammed VI, the King of Morocco, also accepted Trump’s invitation to join this council. The U.S. President has also invited China and Russia to join the Peace Council.

On Tuesday, January 19th, Donald Trump, in a press conference, did not rule out the possibility of the Peace Council replacing the United Nations.
