Axios news outlet reported on Tuesday, August 14, on the eve of the pre-planned negotiations for a Gaza ceasefire this week, that Antony Blinken, the U.S. Secretary of State, has postponed his trip to the Middle East.

Axios, citing two anonymous sources, said that the senior American diplomat’s trip was postponed due to the uncertain situation.

On Tuesday, for the first time in several months, Hamas fired two rockets towards Tel Aviv, while simultaneously Israel targeted Gaza with its air strikes.
